Perfectly cooked eggs poached in rich butter

Ingredients

  • Black Pepper - 1 g
  • Butter - 40 g
  • Eggs - 4 piece
  • Salt - 2 g

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a shallow pan over low heat
  2. Crack eggs gently into the butter
  3. Season with salt and pepper
  4. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes
  5. Baste eggs with butter occasionally
  6. Remove when whites are set but yolks still runny
  7. Serve immediately with toast
