Aromatic rice with sweet caramelized onions
Ingredients
for 4- Butter - 50 g
- Onion - 3 piece
- Rice - 300 g
- Salt - 5 g
Instructions
- Melt butter in a pot over medium heat
- Add sliced onions and cook for 15-20 minutes until caramelized
- Add rice and stir to coat
- Add water (2 cups per 1 cup rice) and salt
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low
- Cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes
- Fluff with fork and serve
