Ingredients
for 4- Basil - 10 g
- Butter - 40 g
- Garlic - 3 piece
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Rice - 300 g
- Salt - 4 g
Instructions
- Melt butter in a pot over medium heat
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute
- Add rice and stir to coat
- Add water (2 cups per 1 cup rice), lemon juice, and salt
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low
- Cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes
- Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes
- Fluff with fork, add fresh basil if desired, and serve
